New Jersey teenage jazz guitar virtuoso Marel Hidalgo explores the music of Jamaica through the legacy of one of its most important pioneers, guitarist and composer Ernest Ranglin. This fresh take on calypso, mento, ska, rocksteady, reggae and dub will be blended with jazz and swing inflections in a unique musical journey by one of the most active young artists in the jazz scene today joined by some of the most talented young jazz musicians in the East Coast.
