Rick DiMuzio is a highly gifted musician and also a double threat as a prolific composer
and an accomplished saxophonist. I’ve worked with Rick for 15 years and his boundless
creativity never ceases to amaze me. His saxophone solo on “Betty Fast” is a brilliant
“schooling” on how to navigate through the infamous Golson chord changes, while
”Beloved” encapsulates personal and universal emotions, showing Rick’s ability to share
with great depth how the power of music comforts, transports, awakens and heals.
